Why are the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World a good place to start your review of genuine human history? Because they represent the highest engineering and architectural accomplishments of their time in history! They show what human knowledge and good social organization can achieve.

PART 1 --- CHRONOLOGY OF THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD
1) THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA (EGYPT)
Pharaoh Kufu was the man who had the Great Pyramid built in 2560 BC, which is the benchmark for the six other Ancient Wonders. He was considered the image of God come down to earth.
It took 23 years and was done by loyal citizen-servants who honored their "king-like" pharaoh
The Hollywood film image of "slave gangs" of workers forced by whip holding masters is untrue according to recent archeological research and recently translated hieroglyphic commentaries and monument inscriptions. Guaranteeing the safe passage of the pharaoh into the afterlife was every Egyptian citizens's duty! Therefore, they willingly labored with shaven heads to deter lice to drag the blocks of limestone.
With only geometry and rope to help them, it is still baffling how they created a perfect square at the bottom and a 480 feet tall shrine encased in top quality limestone.
It's stable form is the largest stone monument ever built by humans. The architectural esthetic is beautiful in all directions. It was revered so much that Kufu's son and grandson built smaller pyramids next to his. That is why there are three pyramids built so close together and looking so much alike.
The Great Pyramid in Cairo, on the Giza plateau, is still the heart of Egyptian culture. Of 80 pyramids in Egypt, the Great Pyramid is the largest. Pharoh Kufu was more than a "king" since he was regarded as a living "god." When he died, he was buried deep inside.
Herodotus' unreliable inaccurate account of the history of the building of the Great Pyramid was taken from the records of priests. Instead of 100,000 slaves, only 20,000 were used. The limestone blocks, which weighed as much as two tons for the bottom blocks, were dragged on sledges and fitted into place every two minutes. It remains the largest stone monument ever made and it took 23 years to build.
2) THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON (IRAQ)
Hanging Gardens of Babylon was built across the deserts to the East of the Great Pyramid. They were constructed 2,000 years after the Great Pyramid.
[1] How was it possible to build a huge hanging garden on flat soil? They formed mud bricks which were baked in the sun. They created a big massive wall. Babylon was on the Euphrates River in Iraq. They formed a square with a walkway on the top wide enough for two chariots to pass. It formed a 52 mile diameter around the city. Babylon was the most sophisticated city in the world.
[2] King Nebucanezer ruled. He married Princess Amatius from Medea. (?)
[3] King Nebucanezer created the Hanging Gardens because his wife enjoyed the vegetation which was natural in her hometown of Medea.
3) THE HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON (IRAQ)
