MEMORY ACTION STEP #4:
MEMORY CONSOLIDATION FORM

You can repeat the last three Memory Action Steps and compare your answers over and over again and again until you get them all correct without having to look at your notes. This memorization exercise can demonstrate the awesome potential of your own brainpower in a very dramatic way.

The various words in your new Alphabetical Brain Vocabulary can trigger different streams of consciousness or unusually intense emotional memories concerning your old behavior and values. This is because you will be stimulating old beliefs and opinions that you learned as a child when you were growing up. Some of the old ideas have been stored in your long-term memory resources from the time you were very young or whenever you experienced a traumatic situation. The old good ideas need to be reinforced or willfully affirmed and the old bad ideas need to be forgotten or erased from the neural pathways of your distributed memory.

This simple act of becoming more perceptive and more accurately informed about your brain can enrich your memory and empower you to become a better educated person who will be able to use critical thinking skills more often in the future when you need to make important decisions. This is because you now know how tremendously important critical thinking skills are for your continuing success and happiness. This new brainpower knowledge will give you a solid foundation for all the choices and creative decisions you will want to make in the future regarding your most important goals and plans.

Now that you have experienced the first three Memory Action Steps, what do the following names of your brain's fifteen main parts and five main functional regions mean to you --- in your own words?

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT YOUR BRAIN'S 15 MAIN PARTS?
