It evaluates the relevance of your perceptions by "pulling-out" memories from your LONG-TERM MEMORY resources and immediate consciousness. The regulatory "nuclei modules" of your LONG-TERM MEMORY resources are contained in your HIPPOCAMPI, which are located in your LIMBIC SYSTEM, and which are involved whenever you evaluate potentially dangerous situations or the anticipated value of any new idea or skill.
