YOUR BRAIN'S AMAZING DIVIDED CEREBELLUM

FRONT VIEW OF SPLIT HEMISPHERES

FRONT VIEW OF YOUR DIVIDED CEREBELLUM

  1. Left hemisphere of cerebellum

  2. Left side body nerves (blue)

  3. Right side body nerves (red)

  4. Right hemisphere of cerebellum

  5. Both sides of your divided
thalamus (which together are called "thalami")

This frontal view of your amazing cerebellum shows how your body nerve pathways or "nerve cables" actually CROSS OVER each other in the center of your brain as they connect with your divided thalamus, called "thalami."

Your nerve cables go up your spinal cord and through the region of your "pons" into your thalami.
