  1. Left hemisphere --- controls RIGHT side your body

  2. Right hemisphere --- controls LEFT side your body
    As seen from the top, your brain is divided down the middle of your cerebrum by your "longitudinal fissure."

    The two halves of your cerebrum are called "left hemisphere" and "right hemisphere." They are joined at the bottom by a thick bundle of nerve fibers called your "corpus callosum."

    The two hemispheres look the same but have different basic functions. Also they control the opposite sides of your body!
