    The purple part of your brain's cerebrum in the diagram is called your "anterior cingulate."

    Your anterior cingulate creates the sense of who you are! It creates your experience of "I" --- your identity or personality or "SELF."

    Your cerebrum is one of the areas in your brain that confirms your sense of being able to make choices.

    Thus your cerebrum creates your experience of "free will." Your cerebrum is activated when you use your willpower, which is engaging your thoughts and feelings, to achieve something or take action to solve a problem or resolve a situation!
